240 Volvo


This is about getting the starter out of an automatic 240.




Removing the plumbing and disconnecting idle and TPS cables made it easier to reach the starter connections. This may not be necessary, but it doesn't hurt to give the corrugated tubing a good look in the light for holes, and check the flame trap.
The 1/2" drive extensions are found at Sears, as well as the wobble adapter. A short socket is needed to clear the tunnel, and those at Sears are a little long to be ideal.
