240 Volvo Rust Hole Patch
This car needs to be state inspected for titling. A safety requirement is there are no holes in the body. This is not about rust repair or restoration; this about getting the car road legal. March 2004.

Rust-through in the floor. Looking down with carpeting removed, standing near rear edge of passenger door frame, the garage floor is visible through the rust hole. The bolted plate is a cover over the hole where a sedan normally has its seat belt retractor.

Another look down from the inside. Garage floor is no longer visible. Inspection is virtually guaranteed.
