Re-insulating an evaporator line that's dripping on my passenger's leg.

This is about wrapping the pipe and sealing it.

Here's another approach using the butyl tape Volvo provided in an R-134a conversion kit. The solvent is mineral spirit.

Topping off a CCOT (1991) system with R12. Days of doing that are long gone for me. The scale isn't really useful here because the whole can got added before it was over.
